Workforce Opportunity Services (WOS) has partnered with Hunter College to launch the WOS–Hunter College AI & Digital Operations Partnership, a new model for building New York City’s next-generation technology workforce.
The partnership connects Hunter’s diverse pipeline of students and graduates in computer science, AI, cybersecurity, data analytics, and software engineering with the WOS managed workforce model. Through its New York City Managed AI & Digital Operations Center, WOS recruits, trains, employs, and mentors participants, with senior staff managing delivery against client-defined performance goals.
Organizations can choose the engagement that fits them, from internships and co-ops to fully managed teams supporting AI development, software engineering, IT service desk, cybersecurity, cloud operations, and data engineering. There is no hiring obligation, and participants can be converted to permanent employment.
About 92% of WOS revenue is reinvested in participant wages, tuition assistance, and workforce development.
