Maybelline Roque joined WOS in July 2010 after learning about the program from friends who completed it earlier. After serving as a consultant in medical benefits coding since 2010, Maybelline was hired by Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield in October 2012 as a Benefit Analyst. Maybelline—a graduate of Edward R. Murrow High School in Brooklyn, N.Y. and Gibbs College, where she studied accounting—earned her certificate from the Rutgers-Newark SOAR program in September 2011. Outside of work and school, she enjoys drawing.
